What’s happened to the Web Developers Association of New Zealand?

As of January 2011, the Web Developers Association of New Zealand ceased trading as a business within the field of Web Development Auckland. This was in lieu of the departure of Dennis Smith, then CEO, when he moved to Samoa.

In any event, Web Developers and Designers continue to adhere to best practices despite most of them not being members of an associated body. This reiterates the strength and professionalism exhibited by the Web design and development community in general.

At present, there isn’t any type of Internet Marketing or Search Engine Advertising body but given the steady growth of Internet and Social Media Marketing demand, even during the recession, there is a growing need to find excellent businesses to work with, like Rawstyle Marketing, a Search Engine Advertising company specialising in SEO, SEM, Local Search and Facebook Marketing.
